HOW TO: Clear Acne

Hey guys!

So today I'll be talking on how to clear acne! A lot of us battle with acne since puberty and some won the fight while others are still fighting. This battle strategy that I use is a simple one, so keep reading to find out.

STEPS TO GET RID OF ACNE

Food intake

1. Watch what you're eating. If you're eating fried food, stop it immediately. Eat steam food or anything that is not fried.

2. Eat plain oats. Yes it's disgusting, but it's well worth saving your skin. Forget cereal or a health bar for breakfast, pour out plain oats in a bowl and douse with water. Do not add anything else like sugar, honey etc. Eat plain.

3. Avoid junk food. Potato chips, chocolate, sweets -an absolute no no. Hungry? Grab plain sunflower seeds and start munching. You'll lose some weight too.

4. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits.

5. Drink tons of water. I drink about 3L daily, so this flushes out toxins in your body.

6. Take vitamins. Whoever told you vitamins don't work, they lie. Vitamins do help, but you can't see a difference in your skin if you keep eating the wrong food that cancels out the good things vitamins try to bring.

Skin Care

1. If you have oily skin, avoid sleeping masks. They clog up your pores. When you have acne, you want to allow your skin to breathe.

2. Do not put makeup that gives coverage. Makeup Base? Foundation? BB cream? Concealer? Absolutely no. Yes, it's terrifying to walk out the door without makeup to hide your imperfections but like I said before, you need to allow your skin to breathe. When you keep applying high coverage makeup, you either 1) cause skin redness/irritation when removing because it's hard to remove or 2) you don't remove all the makeup off and both of this promotes more pimples to grow on the skin.

3. Drink RadianceON by BMS. It's a health drink with super high anti oxidant properties so it'll help clear your skin to look glowing and radiant. Goodbye pimples! See you in another life. (I'll have a review on this soon but you can read about RadianceON here)

4. If you have dry skin, make sure it's well hydrated. I recommend using everything that is listed here.

5. Blot your face! It's probably too oily that's why pimples are popping up! I recently only found out about it.

6. If you have extremely oily skin, try using a less heavy moisturizer on your face. I suggest only using a moisturizing toner if possible. A good and easily available toner is the Hada Labo toner :)

And that's it! Make sure to follow all these steps, and of course along with the skincare and face wash routine  to have that pimple away magic! Remember, everything goes hand in hand, so if you neglect one thing, it won't work well as it should so remember to do everything and all will go well!

Good luck everyone!

Let me know your thoughts and if this helped you or not! I'd love to hear them all!

With love,
Aly
