Natural Korean Inspired Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys!

Another makeup tutorial today and it's a nice natural Korean inspired makeup tutorial! I improvised a little here and there to make it suit me a little better rather than a do full out Korean makeup. However, if you like to have a Korean makeup tutorial do let me know so I can work on making it :)

How it will look:

STEPS:

1. Start off with a clear face as usual. Make sure to wash and prep your face before anything. ( You can read on how to wash your face here and how to apply skincare here)

Bare face

2. Mix BB & CC cream together and apply in a patting motion all over face and neck. But because I used a BB cushion (Sulwhasoo BB Cushion), I applied CC cream in dots all over my face then I blended it with a beauty blender (sponge).

After applying the BB cushion

Blend away!

3. Apply concealer. Conceal all your imperfections. I used Benefit's Fake Up in Light.

Blend it in

4. Fill in those brows. For a nice Korean brows, keep them straight. A slight arch is okay, but make sure overall it's straight. The color should also be lighter than your hair color. It also shouldn't look too well groomed -let it look natural.

5. Dust your face over with a setting powder. I used Guerlain's powder to get my glow game going on.

Step 4 and 5
6. Curl your lashes.

7. Use a light pink shimmery eyeshadow as your base over your eyelids.

8. Use a darker shade (preferably dark brown instead of black) to line your eyes and your lower lash line halfway.

9. Use a pencil eyeliner in a dark mocha brown shade to line your lash line and waterline. Drag the line slightly upwards at the corners of your eye to have a awake effect.

10. Apply a waterproof curling and lengthening mascara on top and bottom lashes.

11. For monolid girls, use a double eyelid glue on your lids to create a double eyelid. If you already have double eyelids, you can skip this step. ( It's too difficult to explain how here so I will leave it for another tutorial)

This is how your eyes should look like now (left side) after doing step 6-11

12. Use a pink blusher and dust it over the apples of your cheek lightly.

13. Apply lip tint at the center of your lips. Use your ring finger and slowly dap it away to the outer part of your lips to create a gradient effect.

14. Use a lip plumper to create fuller lips.

15. Finish off with lip gloss at the center of your lips

This is how you should look after completing step 12-15
