Soft Curls Hair Tutorial

Hey guys!

I'll be doing a different kind of tutorial for you guys today -as you can tell with the title! I've recently got myself into the whole curly hair mojo thing so I thought I'd show you guys how I curl my hair! It's super easy and simple!

Things you'll need:

1. A hair tie (preferably one that is not tight like those elastic bands as you'll need to slide them off later)

2. Curling iron

3. Heat protectant spray (important item!)

4. Comb

5. Hair spray

6. Gloves (Optional -if you're worried you'd burn your fingers off I suggest you wear them!)

ON TO THE TUTORIAL:

1. Comb your hair! Make sure all those tangles are detangled -we wouldn't want your hair getting knotted up while trying to make this fancy hair do

2. Now, spray some heat protectant hair spray onto your hair! Spray a decent amount all over your hair and pay special attention to the ends of your hair as they're the most likely part to get fried while curling your hair. This is because they'll be in the curling wand longer than the other parts of the hair as they'll enter it first. After you're done spraying, wait for a while until your hair is dry. Make sure your hair is total dry and not still damp! If your hair is damp, you'll burn and damage your hair more easily which really defeats the purpose of putting the heat protectant spray in the first place.

3. Now tie your hair up into a high pony tail!

4. Split your hair into 2 sections and place each section onto your shoulders -your hair should be resting on your chest area. We'll label each section that sits on your shoulder section A and B to simplify things a bit.

5. Grab one section A, and part it into smaller sections! You can part it into 2 sections like how I did to get bigger curls and looser curls or you can part it into 3, 4, 5 sections -however you would like it to be!

6. Place the section of hair into your curling iron and curl towards your face. Repeat this with the other section of hair.

7. Repeat step 5 and 6 for section B

8. Gently pull off the hair tie and spray hair spray to keep your curls in place! But don't spray so much to let the curls become a little looser! Just spray enough to make sure your hair doesn't become straight again.

And you're done!

Your curls will relax slowly after a few minutes and you will have gorgeous soft curls!

(Side note: Notice my quick change of clothes haha -bonus picture of my dog!)

Quick RECAP for the actual 4 steps:

1. Tie your hair

2. Part your hair into 2 sections

3. Divide section A and B into smaller parts

4. Curl and repeat

And that's it! I hope everyone managed to do this fast and easy! If you're in a pinch (like I was) grab bigger sections of hair and curl -it saves a lot of time. But be careful to avoid burning yourself!! I accidentally burned the tip of my left ear and it was a painful experience so guys take care!

Until next time!

With love,

Aly.
